Scope This statement applies to the website www.ostwerk.at of Ostwerk e.U. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, and we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. Compliance status According to our self-assessment, the website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The deviations are listed in the next section. Inaccessible content The automated test currently finds the following deviations: - Images without alt text. Affected: /about (each also in English). WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content. - Collapsed sections whose content remains reachable by keyboard. Affected: /insights, /jobs (each also in English). WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value. - Insufficient contrast in individual texts. Affected: /insights, /legal/dsgvo, /legal/impressum, /legal/barrierefreiheit, all reference pages (/referenzen/…) (each also in English). WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum). - Visible text and accessible name do not match. Affected: all reference pages (/referenzen/…) (each also in English). WCAG 2.5.3 Label in Name. - Cannot be tested automatically and therefore not conclusively assessed: keyboard operation, screen reader texts, contrast of text over images and videos. We are aware of these deviations. They arose in the design of individual components, not on purpose. We are fixing them step by step and will update this statement afterwards. How this statement was prepared As of: 2026-10-20. Method: self-assessment, automated test with axe-core (WCAG 2.1 A and AA) across all pages of the sitemap, desktop and mobile. Report in the repository: reports/a11y.md. We review this statement whenever the website changes significantly, and at least once a year.
